put some vaseline on O ring where the O ring sites clean off with paper towel dry off look to see nothing any little dirt were the the O ring sit's put back O ring .on the shut off's make shure that the whose is cut even at end not little flakes off the tips and its pushed in the plastic then tighten the plastic screws. it sounds like you didnt push in the hose and tighten the screws that would do it. everthing is preshure and tighten'ing
