Horrible Mis-hap

Postby allanf » June 2nd, 2007, 2:23 am

My bubble anemone got sucked up into my powerhead intake today, and stupid me tried to pull it loose w/o turning off the pump..guess what happened? A good chunk of it ripped off in my hands! Imagine my horror...Not to mention my tomato clownfish's anger...My heart went out to both of them..Thank godness the anenome, after a few hours, expanded back out and the clownfish, a few hours after that moved it back to the corner of the aquarium...i covered the intake of the powerhead with rocks, will get somethign more substantial tomorrow..Will the rip heal? right now it looks like itself, almost, except for a radial cut from the center(more like a rip)...Here's hoping, i feared the worst at first. Also, what should i feed a bubbletip? it can't catch things that float by...

Thanks.
