Something Investing my tank???

Postby kolin314 » June 18th, 2007, 12:50 am

I hope it is ok to ask this here, if not please direct me to the correct forum.

I was away for a long time overseas and when I came back I found my tank in really bad shape. I have done a 70 water change and corrected the levels, but have also found a very strange infestation. They look like brownish orange small spots that stick to the side of the glass and all over everything else. They are only a little larger than a seasame seed. I am sure they are due to too high of Nitrate for too long. Any thoughts as to what I should do to eliminate them?

Many Thanks.

Looks a little like flatworms to me. i had them for awhile. keep up you tank maintenance and the population will drop. They really don't do any harm IMO.

Thanks for the reply Tike

I have been keeping up the maintence and while it has taken several month for the population to go down, it is...

I didn't have to use anything chemacles to fix it.
