Im new to site guys and just wanted to post some pics of my new salt water set up..

55 gallon tank,62 pounds now of live rock..it is been running for past week on 30 pounds now today I have added 32 more pounds to it..
QUESTIONS
HOW MANY POUNDS OF LIVE ROCK IS MAXIMUM I CAN ADD TO TANK
55 GALLON,.......48X20X12
I HAVE 62 POUNDS NOW and how long should i let it cycle befor attempting to add coral once all test are ok ,ofcourse..

I have added a couple of damsel's (fish store said it should be ok)
all test have been good so far,I used reverse osmosis water and added salt..
protein skimmer,filter heater and to powerheads are running now FULL

I would appreciate any more tips and suggestions from anyone at all
as I hope to have a beautiful coral reef tank,like some many of you on here have, up and running smooth by january 2008..

nice tank stand seems like a good start, what skimmer is this? u will notice pretty soon that an efficient skimmer is super important to keep good parameters, u should have a good bi weekly scheduel of water changes say 15 percent (depends on parameters actually), as for live rocks, nitrogen cycle will take 45 days but live rocks need time to fully cure, many month, so u don't really have to buy tons at a time, just pick up those encrusted with coralline and so, untill then u may be able to add small beginner corals if ur parameters are fine, moreover u need to know the lightning requirements of different coral species.. u may want to start by a good aquascaping plan before ending up with just a wall of rocks and corals.. by the way the 3 stripes damsel and the domino damsel will grow aggressive, good luck..

the rock you added today...is it "cured" rock?
if the rock was cured already, you might get away with limited die-off, and be able to add something to your tank sooner, but my advice would be to wait and see if you get an ammonia spike. just keep testing your water for the next few weeks and note any changes.

what do you mean by an aquascaping plan?

and eventually the damsel will kill each other off ..or will they be fine as long as there is cover for them?

when ready i want to add 2 clown fish and thats it along with my corals
