Where's JeremyR? He might have a little insight to share. :)

Still here and going strong so far, but the Recession/depression is just getting started IMO. If they raise taxes rich folks are gonna horde money out of the country. I can't imagine the shipping prices are not affecting online guys, at least the small ones I am sure.

DHL is getting out of the over night business in Jan so the online guys will have even more trouble shipping (less options).

I'm hiding under a rock hoping for a winning lottery ticket.

We haven't used DHL in a long time.. I give them the award for most unprofessional drivers.

Our DHL drivers have been pretty good, minus one real thug. He had prison tats all over his arms and neck. Oh and a nice little tear drop on below his left eye ;)

I left work very early yesterday and drove thru a very small town where a DHL driver was wandering the street, padded envelope in hand and looked to be half stumbling.

3 doors behind him was a bar that somehow seems to be open 24x7x365 and 4 doors beyond that was his truck.

Made me wish I had a dash cam so I could slap it on Youtube..

Why is The Marine Center still on vacation? They have not shipped for several months and there home page says "Vacation". Do they still exist ?

Yep, rough times are ahead for this industry and doubt it will ever recover to its former self. The internet people as well as retailers are dropping like flies. The hobby is expensive and much tougher times appear to be coming.

Wow... - Step away for a short bit and the place falls into the "professional" version of the Sump.

Eh.. - Well anyway....

To whomever sees/knows of/has contact with Mark S., please pass it on that everyone in Kalamazoo misses him and hopes he's doing well. :D

And Happy Holidays (and brisker sales!) to everyone! ;)
