Moving the photo to page two so I do not have to keep going back to page 1.

The open look would look better if you could move the Deltec opposite the Vortech.

Hmm....by opposite, you mean on the short wall directly opposite the vortech? I could try that... only thing is the apartment door opens on the left of the tank, so putting the skimmer there might obstruct the view when someone walks into the apartment. I can see how it would make the full frontal view more attractive though... I'll give it a shot, and take a shot :)

Yep, the short wall. It would make the tank look much deeper.

Sorry about the leak. Hopefully you can get it back online soon.

Sorry to hear about the leak. Everything, particularly the rockwork, looks great though. Love the rimless look. I think a black back would look nicer though. Either that or just cave in and get a sump. :)

Any ideas about your fish list?

It's looking like I'll get the tank sometime next week (arrives friday at LFS but I won't be in town). Brian at Ocean Gallery in NJ, who I bought the tank and mp40w from, has been super helpful with everything. Won't hesitate to recommend him and that store to anyone, and it's definitely worth a visit with all the beautiful stuff they've got there.

As far as stocking, I have two pseudanthias flaviguttatus on hold from Brian. I am also definitely thinking about a tinker butterfly, and that should about do it. Hyolee, post some pics of your tank!

Sucks about the leak. The tank was looking sweet.

I hope the quality control is better at the condom factory.

This must be killing you, having to wait for so long. I'd expect the vendor to throw in a little extra as an apology if I were you. ;)

Went to Ocean Gallery in NJ and picked up the replacement tank today. Brian had some amazing clams and a ridiculous selection of fancy clowns in stock.

Commencing 57 oceanic build take two! Wish me luck! :)

I want some nice clams! I think we're finally seeing good clams available again after a 5 year drought.

Good luck! I was never that keen on clams when I had my last tank, but I'm going to have at least a couple in the next. Trouble is, there is very little variety in the clams you can buy in Tokyo. Might have to order them direct from Okinawa...

Good luck NKT - after your blow-out you deserve some.

Clams - my favorite! I remember when you could go to the original "Reef Science International" in Danville and see tubs of hundreds of them from the MMDC and pick your favorites...those were the days.

Cheers

Ballsy move ... but it looks good. Hope it goes smooth from here.

Welcome back to the hobby, addict.

I'm liking that aquascape even more than I liked the last one. Good to see you up and running again. :)

Looking really sharp!!! I do think I'd like it better with a black background, that way the minimalistic rockwork would really make an impact.
