OK, we're agree - average the four indexes over the next six years, if less than half are hotter than 1998 you win.

Starting in 2010 and going through 2015. This year was exceptionally cool worldwide and the prediction from the Met Office starts in 2010. I can post this thread in my signature so we can monitor it if you like.

Sorry didn't see it this morning. How can you debunk something that has not happened yet? This is a simple wager, either have the courage to say you believe in global warming and the models and make the bet, or admit you don't believe it.

I'll take your bet but first we'll need to agree on a single source of measurement. My first nomination is the NASA GISS Global Annual Mean Surface Air Temperature Index.

How about a combination of measurements? GISS, Hardcrut, UAH, and RSS?

Sure, i dislike relying on one specific one, especially if it is gubermint funded (yes i know all have government funding but NASA is a little more direct) My feeling is we will know by 2013 whether the Met office climate models are predicting correctly.

No, they are all directly funded by the government. HADCRUT by the UK gov, GISSTEMP by NASA, UAH by evil government grants and RSS is also NASA
