No I have not. This will be my first freshwater tank. I said "supposedly" meaning I have to take their word for it.

Oh man, now you're talkin'. Do you know how many set-ups I sold just because of my tetra tanks? They wanted theirs to be just like mine.

Added glo-lites today. I put the goldfish back in the other tank. He was probably like, "Crap!... no room again!"

Rummy Nose Tetra.

Classy! I like them.

Unsure about the celestial danio though. With some exceptions (koi, discus) I'm usually lukewarm about cultivars, or whatever they call em.

I think it looks great! Nice placement of plants. Good range of heights and color. 8)

Thank you, Sir. The two white columns are actually bubbles. You can't see the tubes unless you really look for them, and they're hidden in the back, behind the vertical plants(intake tube) and the very high horizontal plants on the top of the tank (return tube) in the way back.

The good news is all the Glo-lites survived the night (always a down fall in my tanks  ), and they're eating again this morning! Whoo hoo! :)

If anybody wants more info on the Celestial Pearl Danios you can do a search for Microrasbora Galaxy which was the first name they were given, you'll find a lot of info that way.

FWIW in a big community tank you won't see them since they're skittish and take to hiding in the plants.

They really do look similar to pygmy Brook Trout. Me likely.

Is this a 'man-made' fish, or a wild specie?

I remember seeing the spotted danios whenever we got in shipments of zebras, and I would separate out the spotted ones, put them into their own tank, and I called them "trout danios", sold 'em for $.50 more.
