Can an importer or another store tell me how hard it would be to get my hands on one? I’m looking for another gold or yellow Fu-Manchue Lionfish.

i've landed a couple of high color Fuzzys the last month. Never even seen a golden Fu before. got a pic?

Aw what? no picture, that's weak sauce. Never seen a golden Fu Manchu but hoping you'll change that.

Maybe it isn’t a Fu Manchu, is there another type that comes in gold? I’ll take a picture of it when it comes out of the rocks.

yes, the fuzzy dwarfs come in bright yellow & bright red.

not very common IMO. maybe 1 out of 40 is a high color like that.

1 in 40, I'd take those odds. It sounds like a good collector that is specifically hunting for them should see at least one a day! Put me on the list for five!

Cherry items tend to be given out sparingly as Joe just pointed out. So even though a diver may get one daily you may not see one on every shipment. Buy enough and you may see two :lol:

Yeah I got this one because I came during a time when no LFS were there and caught them selling directly to half a dozen hobbyist. They saw how upset I was so they offered the lionfish as a peace offering. I couldn’t get that premo watermelon chalice out of them though.
