Looks great
since 79 ~12 fw leidens , ~8 years FO salt, mixed reef, Currently-10g FW leiden (30 fish) since 2002, 55g display mixed reef since 2003, 20g Fw leiden from oct 2006. 29g mixed reef since 2005. Very strong emphasis on the tank maintaining itself. tap water, no water changes.

They look happy and healthy, the tank looks great and the B. Japonica seems to be thriving, good job Guy.

Cardinals are are one of my favorite fish - it's a toss up between them and Emperor Tetras...

FWIW i have cardinals in my 28 bowfront with no peat, only floramax original, and had them for a few years before a power outage kia'd almost everything (except the celestial pearl danio, hardy lil sucker!). I do have a whole house water softener unit that supplies my fill water for the tank as well.
