Hammer and Galaxia

Postby laxworriors100 » August 18th, 2010, 5:33 pm

I just recently got a new hammer and i was putting it in and i got distracted and dropped the hammer onto the galaxia. I want to know if it will be alright or not. It has four heads and three of them look really bad, the fourth head looks like its doing fine.

Hard to tell, in the past I've had similar and the coral did recover but I'd watch it close for signs of deterioration. You can always cut off any dying head from the hammer as a last resort. Good luck with it :)

Ok thanks for the help. One more thing, what if the hammer has like a shield or something covering the opening of the one head? And thanks :)

Well, I dunno about a sheild. It's more likely that head is just really retracted into the hard skeleton and that's what you are seeing. If you could post pictures, that'd be nice we always like pictures as they help us give advice :)
