I want to swap out the RIO 800 it came with for a MaxiJet 900.

Has anyone swapped out their pumps for these PS's?

I have an AquaC Remora Pro with the Rio 1400 and it puts out way too much power, I have to turn the pump down quite a ways to get the foaming to be perfect. I am going to swap out the obnoxious Rio 1400 for a Maxi-Jet 1200, which should be perfect. I already have two Maxi-Jet 1200s for water circulation and they are great.

MP900 230gph
Rio800 211gph

It looks like in your case, this would be a good swap.

Had to bring this one back up.

I keep reading horror stories about RIO's and am convinced I need to switch to a MaxiJet. The question I have is, will the MJ fit the AquaC?
