Stick to your guns

Mary,

It is necessary for industry and preservation to go hand in hand. Like it or not, the world is becoming more capitalistic, and as such, that is what is going to end up determining the bottom line. We just have to determine how the natural world fits into the economic equation. Without a doubt, the natural world is a vital part of the economic equation, it is just that many have chosen to ignore it or are ignorant of it's role.

It will take a joint effort on the part of conservationists and businesses to determine the role the natural world plays in the economic equation and allow coexistence. Without cooperation, there will be no coexistence.

There will be some tough decisions for you coming down the pike. Just be sure you are firm in what you believe. Keep it up with coexistence in mind!
