Well, with the thighs connected. I like the dark meat better than breast meat.

Stirfry veggies with strips of pork loin over brown rice. I don't have much time to cook today.

I'm finally getting low on Black Beans 8O Year before last I harvested 4 Instant Ocean buckets worth of black beans. If there was ever an easy to grow food to prep for the Zombie apocalypse, this is it.

I ended up making Beef Cacoila(Portuguese Beef Stew) last night, and prepping the Peri Peri Chicken for grilling tonight...its been marinading in the pepper sauce all night, should be nice n spicy by the time I grill em

I'm grilling some cubed steaks that have been marinating since last night in mustard, onions, worchestershire, olive oil and black pepper. To be served as sandwiches with lettuce, tomato and sweet onion. Probably corn and baked potato on the side.

The bad news is, leftovers tonight.

The good news is, the leftovers are pulled pork and chicken satay.

4 buckets after you shelled them? Do you recall the variety? Is it annoying to shell that many beans?

What do you do with black beans? I'm not a bean person. I don't know what to do with any of them except fresh green beans.

No. No.

Only black beans I think I've ever had were on my burrito from Moe's or Chipotle. Same beans?

Had some nasty ass lentil **** when my vegetarian friend was here visiting from California. Not the same, I know, but if beans are made into some kind of porridge casserole like that, no thanks.

I'll look up the variety. It was something like Trail of Tears. Struck a chord with me.

It is very annoying. The first bucket is fine once you get your rhythm. The second bucket is a pain. The third gets annoying, and the fourth is simply dread. But After all the work to grow them I'll be damned if I'm going to leave a bunch unpicked. The deer and racoons took their share but they didn't destroy the crop so it must not be a favorite for them.

Yep! Very easy to harvest too. Just pull up the entire dessicated plant and pull the pods off. These are also an Heirloom variety. Still looking for my receipt. I think I bought them before you turned me onto Johnney's so I'm not sure where I got the seeds from. I know I got a bunch of packs not knowing how prolific they were.

Burpee - Cherokee Trail of Tears.

I can send you a ziplock full if you get back into gardening.
