Or electroknife or whatever the hell they use, tomorrow 8am, Tonsils, arrivederci!! Not worried at all, although there's a sense of foreboding that I'll go to sleep and wake up in some fairly good pain, and that's what bugs me the most

Also just a heads up, as I might be under some fairly good narcotics so if you see any weird posting by me over the next few days well now you know

I never had mine out. I thought once you reached adulthood it was super rare to need to lose them.

When L had her soft palette removed they were going to remove her tonsils too - during surgery they found out she didn't have any tonsils. I was sort of surprised they didn't realize she had none during the preliminary examination.

I can still remember that. I musta been about 4yo. I was in a room, then a guy was standing over me with a oxyacetylene torch in his hand with a big long flame. He said this wasn't gonna hurt a bit. Then I woke up fighting!


But I did get to eat about 14 gallons of ice cream over the next few days.

Can you seriously consider keeping a daily journal in this post?

I've been wanting my tonsils removed ever since my first batch of tonsil curds 15 years ago but I've heard adult tonsil surgery is painful and slower recovery than when under 18.

A friend had it done years ago. It's wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't that big of a deal. I mean, I'm sure it was a big deal, but not a huge big deal.

I was supposed to see a doctor about my elbow tomorrow, but he wanted me to make an appointment so I said **** it. I will just deal with the pain. No way am I going to make an appointment so I can get told I need to go get an x-ray and then come back for another appointment to discuss it and then another appointment to fix it. Doctors suck

Your doctor sucks. I go to the doctor, they take x-ray, doctor comes and tells me what she thinks and how to fix it - 45 minutes tops.
