The lack of interest in this thread shows how the American people feel about the issue. I am gonna bet that they are not going to happy with Congress wasting its pursuing a looney conspiracy theory of the NRA instead doing something to help improve the economy. Speaking of which what exactly has the House done?

I was pissed about the exec privilege stuff. Then I found this.

After this kind of ****, **** congress. What a **** moron. How about getting to the root of the massive **** that let so many guns walk? Nah. We'll use it to score points with the gun nuts.

Looks like it's not just republicans

It would probably would have been better for Holder if he hadn't lied to oversight committee in the beginning.

Which option will Chicago Jesus choose?:
“Either you or your most senior advisors were involved in managing Operation Fast & Furious and the fallout from it, including the false February 4, 2011 letter provided by the attorney general to the committee, or, you are asserting a presidential power that you know to be unjustified solely for the purpose of further obstructing a congressional investigation.”

For the record I'd like to say up front that I do not believe that a sitting American president would authorize a burglary into the political opposition HQ for the purposes of stealing information that might help in the furtherance of his political agenda....Oh crap...wait...Forget that denial...I got this, no probs here...
I do not believe that a sitting American president would allow thousands of military style, high powered weapons to be funneled into the hands of narcoterrorists lurking on our southern border as part of a clandestine “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar” plan simply to bolster this admins argument for disarming citizens.
I simply don't buy it folks. That's just craaaazy talk.

I think it's pretty much a given that they (the administration) knew they were letting guns walk. It had been going on for a long time. They decided to let them walk a little further to try to catch more bad guys. No great surprise there.

The rest of this is political masturbation.

Sure it was. These things were going on for a while. The change was letting them "walk a little further" in an effort to catch more bad guys.
