Well of course there were potential story lines. There's also the idea that Jessie finds out it was Walt who poisoned his g/fs little brother, although that dude who was dead now being alive was a bit odd... I simply said the story was wrapped up and finished nicely... kind of like the Matrix, but sure enough the W-bros found "plots" to explore.
