Soccer players are a bunch of overacting pansies- get "tripped", roll around on the ground clutching you shin till the ref feels sorry for your ass and calls a penalty and the you stand up and sprint down the field with nary a limp...like nothing happened...play the game you f'ing overacting queen.

Trying to watch GB vs Korea right now, and not having much luck.
I did figure out what the problem is with soccer though - too many players on the field.
Make it 5 on 5 (plus the two goalies) then you'll have some action. With as many players as it currently has, nobody can
get a pass anywhere, nobody can score - it's quite stupid.

I agree with the original post. Yeah they have stamina for days, but the whole fake injury bit needs to have them get ejected from the game.

This is the problem with Americans. You've got used to watching games only you play and can't conceive of the idea that with a game that virtually the whole world plays, some countries don't play the game as we'd like. The Latin Americans are renowned for exactly the thing you're talking about Budha. British football fans hate it as much, if not more (seeing as they care about being beaten thanks to this sort of gamesmanship) than you.

Oh, and there is no more boring sport to watch if you don't really understand what's going on than American football. The key bit is the bit in bold, and the same holds true for true football.
