Future article request

Postby jimmid » September 22nd, 2002, 1:19 pm

Thanks for Julian's article this month. I just wish it was around 7 or 8 years ago when I switched to a version of the method. Much trial and error (especially error would have been avoided). That said, it has become a more enjoyable way of maintaining the hobby.
If I could ask for a future article, it would be on water movement. Specifically, with no holes in the tank or pumps in the water. As I am preparing to setup a new tank, this is my biggest struggle. Hopefully, other people would find it of interest.

I'll see what I can do. Dana Riddle did some articles for Aquarium Frontiers when I was editor of that publication years ago, and if you check back in the archives of this publication you will find some articles by Harker related to this subject.

Thanks for the article on pumps and plumbing. Have read it several times and will be applying it shortly. Although, I am starting to remember why I got out of the business of designing and surveying large corporate farm irrigation systems thirty years ago, it can be a little tedious to get right (must be getting old, water flow is more interesting now) :-).
