Question for Terry: temporary return pump

Postby DanConnor » May 1st, 2003, 2:30 pm

A while ago you had an article that discussed disaster-preparedness and you mentioned a submersible pump that you used in case your main return pump failed. Would you mind telling what pump that was? Thanks, Dan

It's a Rule 2800. It pumps out about 2800 GPH.

Thanks Terry! Are the parts of these pumps saltwater safe, or do you figure for a day or two its not an issue? I'm looking for something that can pump up from the basement, I'll ask them if they can handle head-pressure.

There's a few stainless screw heads which I covered with silicone.
