Title of this contest explains it all... a Reef Scene, anywhere, any size, any angle, as long as it's fascinating.

Make sure to check out the new prize this week, also. You shutterbugs out there might like it. So without further ado, let's see your REEF SCENES !!
This assignment ends on 12:00 AM EST Monday (sunday/monday midnight), July 27, 2003.

Please refer to the Contest Rules for more information about how to enter. Each member may submit up to TWO (2) entries per contest.

As stated in our contest rules, the winning submission will be proudly displayed on our homepage for two weeks.
Winners for this assignment will receive a $25.00 Gift Certificate from one of the largest camera retailers in the country, B&H Photo and Video! Here is their website...check it out!

Wow Bar These are the first reef pictures I have seen that captured such strong emotion. Not good emotion--you have my sympathy. My yellow tang almost met a similar end. My GFI flipped off during the night. When I got up in the morning my Cynarina had the tang in its death grip. However, he was still moving. I quickly grabbed a stick, freed him, and got the power back on. Within an hour he was swimming normally. Later in the day he had black marks, I think necrotic tissue due to stings from the coral’s nematocysts, but possibly from hypoxia. He eventually made a full recovery.
