Interested if anyone has some quick methods for determining whether an adult flame angel is male or female ..from an external visual point.

It is generally held that the posterior ends of the dorsal and anal fins are more pointed in males. There are also some differences in the amount of blue in the trailing edges of these fins. Of course, the best way to establish a pair is to pick two individuals of different sizes. The largest will invariably become male.
