Questions about the purple gorgonian for Doug Lehman

Postby dougc » May 20th, 2004, 4:14 pm

Doug,

Nice tank. I noticed that you have a purple bush-type gorgonian in the tank. I just acquired one that looks almost identical, but am always concerned about long-term prospects for thin-branched gorgonians like that. I am wondering how long it has been in your tank and whether it is in a high or low flow area.

Hello Doug
The purple gorgonia has been with me for many years.
It has done well in the upper half of the aquarium with good water movement. It has been fragged many times with good results.
It grows fast and is very hardy.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I have mine in a spot that gets plenty of flow about halfway up the tank. Thanks for the info.
