How about an article on the spectrum and intensity of the common supplemental fluorescent lights used in the hobby (such as URI- 03, 50/50, aquasun, and others).

Also, according to Radium's website, the Radium 400W bulb is actually a 360W bulb. It would be interesting to know if good color, longer life, and good efficiency could be achieved with a 350W HQI ballast (such as Venture's Optiwave).

An other idea for a AA article topic is to determine the light freqency filtering affect of aquarium water (it seems to be quite different from NSW). If this topic makes it to the pages of AA it would be nice to know the setup of the aquariums of the water tested (filtering, P/S, general apperance of the water in a white container).
