OK, I'm jumping into the fray a little late but I'm going to give it my best shot anyway
I plan on setting up a 20 long or maybe even a 15. My lights will be from a 4x65 pc fixture that is 48 inches long so I am going to gut the fixture and DIY a hood to fit on which ever tank I decide upon (I better make that decision pretty soon LOL) I am thinking that a bakpak would be my skimmer. I am planning on keeping my RBTA in the tank with her constant companion a gold stripe maroon. And a few other lps and softies.
I guess that is about all that I have so far. I better go and make a few decisions 8O

I think that I have made my final decisions regarding this tank. It will be a 15 gal. tank with the back painted blue. Filtration will be a hang on the back refugium. I think that I will be able to put the heater in the refugium. For lighting I have a 48 inch 4x65 pc light strip that I have dismantled and am in the process of putting all four lamps, 2 small fans, and 4 moon lights into a 24 inch hood. For circulation in the tank I will be using 2 Maxi-jets, probably 400's, running off of a wave strip.
As for inhabitants, I have decided against moving my RTBA into this tank an instead will drive up to Tropicorium and pick up some live rock and a couple of sps and possibly a clam or two. I'm thinking that 260 watts over a tank that is less than 12 inches deep will be more than enough light. I will be posting some pics of my canopy/tank soon

I have a few days off this week so I have been working on my tank. I painted the back of the 15 blue. And have built the shell of the hood. All I have to do for the hood now is get all of the lights and fans into this shell.

I worked some more on the hood and I pretty much have it finished. One of the actinic bulb was broken in shipping so I threw in a old bulb that I had laying around. I just ordered a refugium and this weekend will pick up a wave strip and power heads.

Well, the tank has water in it, about an inch of sand, and the hang on refugium is on and running (but no chaeto yet :x ) I am going to pick up some live rock and hopefully some macro today. I wanted to post some pics but my wife took the camera to school. something about eggs hatching in her class today. I tried to make her realize what was more important but you know how some women are  I'll post some pics as soon as the camera finds its way home.

I went and picked up about 13 lbs. of live rock today. It consisted of 3 big pieces and some rubble for the refugium. I also worked on cleaning up all of the cords that are hanging from the tank

I finally have added some live stock to the tank! I made a trip up to Tropicorium and came home with a ORA chocolate ocellaris and a rainford's gobie. I was tempted to also get a BTA but decided that I was adding more than I probably should already. I'll just wait for my RBTA to split again and add the clone to this tank. The clown really seemed out of sorts after adding him to the tank. For hours he "paced" back and forth. but he has now settled down and is hiding beside the refugium pump.

I am having a little algae problem but it is clearing up. I will try to post some pics this weekend.

I made some additions over the weekend. I added a frogspawn, torch, some polyps, and a couple of yellow polyps from my other tank. The algae problem that I had a while back has cleared up nicely. the fish that were added are doing great. Alittle concerned about the rainsford goby. His stomach seems to be a litte sunken so I am hatching some brine shrimp for him. Hopefully this will fatten him up.

I should clarify. Only the yellow polyps came from my other tank. The frogspawn, torch, and zooz came from Sea2Sea in Holgate, OH
