In regards to Terry's Aug Editorial...was fish quarantined?

Postby scyphozoa » August 16th, 2005, 12:09 am

Was the Chaetodon ulietensis added to the main tank after a quarantine period?...and if so what q-tank methods were used? It appears that the fish from Foster & Smith arrived without any signs of disease (and accepting food ok) but if it had not what was the author prepared to do to treat a fish belonging to the sensitive butterfly group?

(Just would like to know what the experts do----thanks for the info on Foster& Smith)

It first went into my quarentine tank, where i examined it very closely. It was only after it was eating well and clearly showing no signs of disease that it was added to the display tank and at night.
