Hey Dana, Glad to see you've found time to follow up on the work you first presented at macna. Sounds you like you were very thorough in your data collection and that some reefkeepers now know they need to be considerate of thermal hotspots from high intensity lighting. Although it doesnt really change your conclusion, your decision to use CSD's set to different periods makes it harder to interpret the results. I think that if you had used two separate but constant flow speeds it would have made it easier to infer the relative importance of flow speed on dissipating heat. In either case, it is great work, thanks for sharing and keep it coming.
Video games don't affect kids. If Pacman had any effect on kids they would run around in the dark gobbing pills listening to repetitive music.

Can you please post some links to updated data.
We have some reef tanks on our club too, bit nothing like this.
