Awesome, Sanjay. It looks a lot like the captive grown one I have in my tank. It's a fast grower, and really pretty when it gets big. I forgot just how awesome healthy elegance corals were until I got this one.

Awesome elegance coral.

Elegance corals are one of the corals that really got me into this hobby. Had one in my 75G for years.

Kinda makes me want to make room for one in my 300G, thought it is almost exclusively SPS (60 - 70 SPS, 2 LPS) :D

Len,

Where did you get yours from ? I hope this one is a fast grower too. I have always wanted an elegance coral, and regret having given up all the ones I used to have before I set up my SPS tank.

They are just so pretty.

hey sanjay, i just subscribed to this form. i seen the pictures of how you built your rockwork it looks awsome.

im setting up a 150 gal and plan on doing somethign simmilar building pillars.

anyways just had a few questions.

what type of prick did you use on the bottom for base? or what types could i use?

also what is "thorite" where can you buy it or is there any other substances i can use to glue rocks?

Looking great Sanjay. :)

Do you know what kind this one is? I had a rather smaller colony of the same coral in my last tank.

Amazing.

Nice growth and color. How do you do it?

Ok.. here are some of the more "fuller' shots. I had to make them bigger to get a better picture.
