Anemone semi sucked by powerhead!!!

Postby fumiako » August 31st, 2006, 5:05 pm

Hi, I have a sebae anemone... or at least what is left of it, cause it got sucked into a powerhead...

There is something left of it and it is moving, Is there any chance for it to survive, or should I remove it???

Thanks for the advice!

I hope yours recoved...mine seems to be OK, but time will tell, the anemone and the clownfish both have PTSD after today.

There is always a chance of survival. Many anemones have survived this. Give it a few days and hopefully it will improve. You will need to cover your intakes to protect the anemone. Here is a helpful website: http://www.karensroseanemones.com/coverpowerheads.htm
