mysid shrimp

These most likely are a type of mysid shrimp. They are harmless little critters that consume detritus, phytoplankton and just about any other planktonic organisms (including their own young). They make great food for the animals in the tank. (Photo from the Woods Hole Biological Institute Hompage)
