Date Started Marine Aquaria: I had some marine tanks in the 70s featuring locally collected species; first real reef tank 1992.
Current Marine Aquariums: 120 reef set up october 2002. Lighting is 1 400W Radium flanked by 2 250W DE 10Ks. Sump is a 75G rubbermaid in the basement returned by a Sequence pump. Other equipment includes a DIY Kalk reactor, Myreef CA reactor, Aqua-C skimmer and a 5' tall DIY CC skimmer. Additional circulation includes a mag9 on a closed-loop with a 3/4 seaswirl and a Gemini on a wavemaker.
Reef Keeping Philosophy: Hmmm...I'll have to think about that one.

Reef Keeping Philosophy: Hack and DIY as much as you wish, but don't waste your time if you can get it off-the-shelf and work even better.

Favorite Coral: The bright orange mushrooms I got from Gary Meadows (Harbor Aquatics) before he passed away a few years ago.
Favorite Invertebrate: My Stichodactyla Gigantea anemone. Oral disc 18" and growing.
Dream Reef System: If money, time, and space were no object? Something I could swim in...or at least get into. Actually though, I just want something big enough to let my anemone grow to full-size.
Other Hobbies: Hooboy, let's see. Photography (getting better); drawing (suck); writing (not too shabby); hangin' with my gorgeous wife (is that a hobby?); playing sports like hockey (left wing), soccer (goalkeeper), and volleyball (strong-side hitter); taking care of the house and yard, building stuff in the garage, etc.
