Q: How do I set these wallpapers as my background?
A: Browse the index of wallpapers for one you'd like to use as your desktop background. Click on the thumbnail. You will see a reduced size sample of the selected wallpaper. In the "Size" drop down box (located below the image), select "Original size" to view the wallpaper in its full native resolution. Once the image has fully downloaded, right click it and select "SET AS (DESKTOP) BACKGROUND." Your computer will now apply this wallpaper as your new desktop background.
Q: Can I use a wallpaper on my computer even if its native resolution is different then my monitor's setting?
A: Yes. Your computer will automatically stretch the wallpaper to fit your screen (of if your internet browser allows a selection when applying an image as a desktop wallpaper, select "stretch"). All wallpapers have been designed for standard screen ratio so that they will look proportional on all conventional 4:3 monitors.; Matching the native resolution of the wallpaper to your monitor's setting provides the optimal image quality. Currently, Reefs.org does not offer wallpapers for widescreen monitor formats.
Q: How often are new wallpapers published?
A: While there is no rigid schedule for publication, Reefs.org will make an effot to upload new wallpapers regularly. Expect one or two new wallpapers each month, and check back regularly for updates.
Q: How much does it cost to use these wallpapers?
A: Reef.org Wallpapers are free of charge in appreciation of your continued participation in our community.
