HELP!!! peppermint shrimp

Postby rick2010 » April 13th, 2008, 11:32 pm

I have had 3 cleaner peppermint for a few months and have noticed them spawn, however the fish have eaten the young. I recently moved them(because they were eating my feather worm) to their own 5 gallon tank. They just spawned and now I have between 100 and 200 babies and have no idea what to do. I would like to keep them alive if possible.

They will hatch young every time the molt. You need to read up - Kirkendoll's Book is just the ticket: ... ZP0B47A48&

I have that book, it's actually a good read. I think it has a diagram of a device for catching the hatchlings too, that device works for clown fish fry too....

Or the clownfish book had the diagram....either way :)

I agree that is a good book, and has all the info you need. And it is a good read.
